After a huge success of Pirates Of The Caribbean, Walt Disney is all set to make the film a television series with Jack Sparrow in the main role.

For the new T.V series, Disney is already under way to give a spin to the movie and show how young Jack Sparrow turned into a famous pirate.

According to a Disney source:

The film has been such a success with spin-offs such as toys and video games and books, it only seems right to do a TV series.

The T.V series is expected to get voiceover from high profile celebrities as when the movie itself had captivated guests like Keith Richards on its release, then one can very well imagine all the stars who would be wishing to be a part of the television show.

The film Pirates Of The Caribbean had starred Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom and Kiera Knightley and had become one of the most accepted movie franchises making the character Jack Sparrow as the biggest cinema icon in the past decade.

Curse of the Black Pearl, the first in the trilogy, had made $654 million worldwide. The second, Dead Man’s Chest was the fastest film that had reached the $1 billion mark.
It set up a records sale when its 10.5 million copies of DVD were sold in the very first week of the release in 2006.

This year At World’s End, the last film in the trilogy was released which grossed $939 million at the worldwide box office.
