vendettaI say the movie is a total failure when it comes to living out the comic characters.



The way the screenwriters, The Wachowski Brothers have personified the novel is not up to the mark. It is an immature presentation. No movie goers will be able to relate to it.



Besides, those familiar with Alan Moore’s graphic novel, upon which the movie is based, never expected a CGI Matrix-esque action fest.



The only saving grace about the movie is Natalie Portman’s portrayal of Evey Hammond.



Director James McTeigue’s cinematography is not bad at times and the sets and costumes are quite unique but his vision of the future is too far fetched.



Some dialogue in the ‘prison scene,’ taken directly from the movie is quite inspiring too. But the attempt to parallel it with present-day America was too unrealistic and unprofessional.



No wonder Alan Moore, the author has nothing to good to say.
