When the harsh realities of life struck you out of the blue like a freezing ice ball, you go numb and then suddenly realize that you are drowning deep into those emotional upheavals and all the memories starts flooding back.
This is what is happening with the U.S audience when the trailer of 9/11 movie was shown in the theatres. Some started crying right on the spot while many others argued that they are not yet ready to go through the same phase again and the trailer shouldn’t be shown on the screens.
Forgoing this chaotic situation, Universal Pictures have stood close with the entire team of 9/11. As said by Adam Fogelson, the marketing President of the UP’s, both the team from the UP as well as the 9/11 unit met the grieving families so that since the movie deals with a sensitive issue, the families won’t have to suffer from any kind of mental stress again.
Adam Fogelson said:
We have received numerous e-mails (from family members) saying they appreciated the tone and sensitivity and honesty of the piece that is being presented.
He further said that they don’t have any plans to change the script or either pull off the trailer from the screens.
