According to The Hollywood Reporter, filming on The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, the third in the series of The Chronicles of Narnia franchise will begin in January 2008.
Michael Apted, the acclaimed English director, who has The World Is Not Enough and Gorky Park to his credit, will direct Dawn Treader.
Apted takes the reins from Andrew Adamson, who directed the first two films, the second of which, Prince Caspian, arrives in theaters May 16, 2008. Adamson will stay on for the third film as the producer.
The Voyage of the Dawn Treader would be released on May 1, 2009 in theaters across the world.
