‘If you smell....What The Rock is cooking’ - I crave to hear these famous words everytime I sit in front of my TV set to watch the WWE. Being a great fan of The Rock, it gives me great pleasure to inform that the wrestler-turned-actor has been approached to play a main role in the forthcoming movie Shazam! And the icing on the cake is that he has been offered two roles in the film, out of which he has to choose one.
Although its a great news, but it has created a confusion for the hunk. The Rock, whose real name is Dwayne Johnson, recently revealed to MTV News that he has been approached by the makers of Shazam!, and he is into discussions for not one ut two main roles in the movie. He has to choose between playing either Captain Marvel or the villainous Black Adam.
The Rock, who was even known as The Peoples Champ by his WWE fans during his wrestling days, has decided to take help from fans to make him choose the role that would suit him best. He said:
I think it’s up to the fans, very specifically because they are passionate about the comic book, about the history and mythology [of the character]. They will be very vocal.
As far as my opinion is concerned, I’m as confused as The Rock. I’ve seen him playing heel in the WWE for quite a long stretch, but then again, he soon traded the heel image and emerged as one of the most-liked champions in the WWE. Even in his movie career he has played both the hero and the villain with the same perfection. So, its a real tough task to choose between the two roles offered.
