Critically acclaimed director Rituparno Ghosh is a happy man indeed. His latest movie The Last Lear, apart from having its World Premiere at The Toronto International Film Festival, has also been selected for the much hyped London Film Festival.
Do you know that The Last Lear has been selected for the Gala Premiere, which is, the most prestigious section of the Toronto Festival? Along with Rituparno, the cast of the movie including Amitabh Bachchan, Preity Zinta, Arjun Ramphal, and Jishu Sengupta will be walking the red carpet.

This English language film is based on the popular yesteryears Bengali actor Utpal Dutt’s play, Aajker Shahjahan. For the very first time, superstar Amitabh Bachchan will play the role on an ageing Shakespearean actor.
Apparently, for this movie Preity Zinta has adopted an arty look. This glamorous lady will be seen sporting heavy saris, minimal makeup, and hold your breath, traditional large bindis!
