Oscar awarded Mel Gibson, is not in a good mood these days, as he went batty on a female college professor during a manifestation at Cal State University at Northridge. According to the sources she accused him of racially stereotyping Mayans in his film Apocalypto.
The Assistant Professor of Central American Studies at CSUN, Alicia Estrada, went asking Mel, if he had read about the Mayan culture before shooting the controversial film?... I guess it was a wrong question, at a wrong time. As she positions that representation in the movie that the Mayans engaged in sacrificial ceremonies and had bloodthirsty tendencies were both wrong and racist.
It was enough to make Mel, an angry man, as he countered,
Lady, Fuck off.
I am sure after such a statement from non-other then Mel Gibson, must have been a shocking era. I guess he should have taken a different theme for his movie, with some happy ending, but what difference does it makes after-all, as it is its too late.
