Fans of the famous sci-fi franchise ‘The X Files’ finally get some respise with the news that the follow up to 1998’s movie will begin production this December. This news was confirmed by the actor David Duchovny who created a ferver with his role in the franchise.
Reports have it that the script of the movie is written and will undergo production at some point in December. The actor mentioned that the team would love to keep the story of the upcoming sequel as a secret so that they can provide an all together fresh experience.
The hype around a sequel started right from March when the actor confirmed that final negotiations for the project were being wrapped with he and Gillian Anderson in discussions to reprise their roles as Agent Mulder and Agent Scully, respectively.
It is also known that Anderson pulled out of indie drama ‘Helen’ after it was known to her that the filming of the flick clashed with the follow up of ‘The X Files’. Fans across the globe of this popular franchise can rejoice and await the surprise excitement.
