He spent most of days by the grave of his dearly departed wife Adrian. And with sunset makes his way to the Italian restaurant he owns. Their only son, Robert, has entered the corporate world and works at a firm in downtown Philadelphia. The relationship between father and son is strained.
Rocky with his brother-in-law Paulie takes a trip of notable landmarks in Philadelphia revisiting the pet store where Adrian used to work and the remains of the ice rink where they had their first date. At the end of his yearly tour, he stops at the Lucky Seven tavern, which he would pass by on his way to Mickey’s gym during his boxing career. Now there is nothing left in his life to fight for.

Now Rocky desires to step back in the ring and is initially not allowed with a license to fight but later he convinced the Pennsylvania Athletic Commission to allow a license. Soon he found himself starring down his opponent, current heavyweight champion Mason “The Line” Dixon (played by real-life boxer Antonio Tarver).
The fight starts and Rocky is thrown off by Dixon. After being knocked down several times by Dixon, Rocky also throws some devastating punches. Till the tenth round it appeared that Dixon will outlive the tired Balboa. But Balboa stands up suddenly and fights back throwing punch after punch.
Ultimately rocky looses the fight and movie ends with Rocky at Adrian’s grave saying, ‘Yo, Adrian, we did it.’
Rocky Balboa is the best movie of the Rocky saga after the Oscar winning Rocky in 1976. And Rocky V extremely annoyed the viewers and Rocky II-IV was also not up the expectations of the audience.

The events of Rocky II-V are not mentioned in the last and sixth series of Rocky .it can be said that Rocky Balboa is only an entertaining film.
