Hollywood came alive on he night of October 24th 2007 when stars of the industry gathered together at the world famous El Capitan Theatre for the premier of Touchstone Pictures ‘Dan In Real Life’. Dressed in dark suit with grey shirt was Steve Carell the male lead of the movie who made his presence felt at the red carpet where he was noted flashing smiles for everyone around.
Other cast members Dane Cook, Juliette Binoche, Marlene Lawston, Brittany Robertson were also present at this world premiere along with director Peter Hedges and song writer Sondre Larche. As any other normal movie premier, Dan In Real Life sought other world class celebrities in the attendee list. Handful of VIP guests was spotted who made their ways for the screening. Among those whose presence took the event to a greater extravagance were Jenna Fischer, Rainn Wilson, Patrick Swayze, Tia Carrere, Massi Oka of ‘Heroes’ fame, Melora Hardin and Leslie David Baker.
For all those movie enthusiasts, the movie is slated for an October 26th release where they will find Carell play an advice columnist named Dan who is an expert on relationships. Though his job is that to solve relationship issues Dan himself witnesses downfalls as a brother, son and a single parent. Shot in different pockets of the Rhode Island the movie will be much awaited by many across the globe.
When a movie about relationships hits the silver screen it touches the deepest chords of many viewers. Hollywood has in the past churned out some of the most deep impacting movies on relationships. ‘Dan in Real Life’ definitely proves to be one that will try to strike a sense of relativity with the audience hoping that it creates a long lasting impact in the minds, hearts and lives of millions.
