Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End has a box-office record before hitting the theatres. The third film in the Pirates league is all set to open on Friday in 4,362 theaters domestically, which scores 110 more then the previous record holder. The previous record holder was Spider-Man.
It now aims to hit the record for best debut too, which it lost to Spider-Man 3. The movie is of about two hours, 47 minutes. It however faces a tough competition from Spider-Man 3 and Shrek the Third. So, basically it will be very tough for audiences to choose the movies this weekend.
