Director of The Mummy Tomb of the Dragon Emperor, Rob Cohen has recently disclosed a production still of the upcoming movie which features the martial arts stunner Jet Li. For all those who are die hard fans of this sensational star from the east, news has it that Jet Li will be seen playing the coveted role of the Dragon Emperor.

The image which has been revealed in the director’s official blog shows the back image of star actor Brendan Fraser who plays the role of Rick O’Connell, taking a high flying kick from the Dragon Emperor played by none other than Jet Li. Jet Li’s role is based on the tyrannical emperor of the in 50 B.C. whose evil is punished with an ultimate curse. The recent news though from the sets is that Li just shot for a mammoth scene which showcases him riding a black stallion into battle in a jade armor.

Having a word on Li’s dedication and performance as the coveted Dragon Emperor Rob Cohen said,
He has been totally professional and warm to me and the entire crew, like the prince he truly is.

For all those who cannot get enough of the movie from this bet, reports have it that the music of the film will procure an original score with original themes. This has already been recorded at the Abbey Road Studio, played by the London Symphony Orchestra. Again giving an assurance of the extravagance the film projects the director said,

It will be massive, thematic, and pulsing. I have great respect for Al Silvestri but this is a new, re-booted ‘Mummy’ and it will have the score to match
