Pop superstar Kylie Minogue’s next role will be out of the world as she is all ready to feature as a cyberwoman in a new episode of Doctor Who.
The Spinning Around singer, who has famously acted in movies like Moulin Rouge and Streetfighter, is starring in the hit British show with actor David Tennant for a forthcoming Christmas special.
The filming of the Dr Who special show is scheduled to start in July. The show could well revive the Australian pop singer’s TV career.
A BBC insider said that the The Doctor Who team is elated over the fact that they are getting a chance to work with someone as sexy and high profile as Kylie. On the other hand, Kylie too jumped at the chance of starring in the show as she is very excited to act again.
In the last few years, Minogue has made a brief return to her television career. Not long back, Kylie made a guest appearance in the popular Australian comedy series, Kath and Kim.
