Australian pop princess Kylie Minogue is the new star of the popular British sci-fi series ‘Doctor Who’ Christmas special. The singing sensation plays a waitress on historic ship the Titanic in the hour long episode to be shown on Christmas day.
The ‘Spinning Around’ singer dressed in a pair of black leather boots and a maid’s uniform stunned everyone the set. The 39-year old star began filming in Cardiff this week with David Tennant who plays The Doctor.
Kylie said,
It is an incredible thrill to be joining David and the entire ‘Dr Who’ production for this year’s Christmas special.
‘Dr Who’ enjoys a unique history and it is going to be very exciting to be a part of that.
Kylie will be adopting as Astrid, a waitress on the doomed Titanic in an episode called ‘Voyage of the Damned.’ Veteran British sitcom stars Geoffrey Palmer and Clive Swift also appear in the special episode.
Kylie is 39-year old but she still looks so young and pretty and in Wales also her fans were curious to catch a glimpse of her. The stunning singer has been in Wales for the past three weeks making the show.
