The Australian actress has been tapped by 20th Century Fox to produce and act in the remake of Marilyn Monroe’s classic flick ‘How to Marry a Millionaire’. Nicole Kidman will portray Monroe’s character Pola Debevoise.
Steven Spielberg’s The Terminal screenwriter, Sacha Gervasi is working on the screenplay of the movie, which will be a contemporary-set remake of the 1953 classic. The plot of the new film is not known, but is rumored to be different from the original classic. The original version, which starred Monroe, was about three beautiful women who work only with the aim of finding three millionaires to marry.
Seems like the Academy Award winning actress likes working on remakes as she has earlier starred in the remakes of 1975 film The Stepford Wives and a film remake of the sitcom Bewitched.
Kidman, who has an Academy Award to her credit for portraying Virginia Woolf in The Hours, will next be seen in Warner Bros’ ‘The Invasion’ and New Line Cinema’s ‘His Dark Materials: The Golden Compass.’
Kidman is the best choice for the role, as she has the experience of marrying not one, but two millionaires.

gotta love the hair.
Wow! You’ve gotta see this. This is the coolest pop art of Marilyn Monroe I’ve ever seen. It’s called Marilyn Monroe Tangerine. I think it’s even better than Andy Warhol’s Marilyn Monroe. The colors are better– tangerine, deep purple and sky blue.
And here’s the best part. I’ve also got a secret. I learned that there’s a secret web page where you can get
this canvas print and save over $100! Here it is: http://www.marilynmonroepopart.com/secretpage.html.
Also I heard this is only one in a series of thirty-two. Hey I got mine and I’m so gald I did. I’m gonna collect all them. You gotta get yours now before this secret page goes away.
