Judge Peter Smith ruled out this charge and said Mr. Brown has committed no copyright-infringement and hence can’t be charged on any account.



Hearing the verdict and feeling much more relieved, the author said:

Today’s verdict shows that this claim was utterly without merit, I’m still astonished that these two authors chose to file their suit at all.




With this chapter closed, the blockbuster movie based on this novel, starring Tom Hanks waits for its release next month.
