Ivanka Trump won’t be replacing Rosie O’Donnell’s seat at the View table. Ivanka, the daughter of Rosie’s fiercest rival, Donald Trump, shoots down rumors that she could be the new co-host of ‘The View.’ She told Ryan Seacrest during his KIIS FM radio show on Tuesday,
There’s zero chance I would do that. I’m working on the sexiest projects around the world. So to me to be on a television show every single day at a designated period of time just wouldn’t work for my schedule.
Ivanka, who is the Vice President of real estate development and acquisitions for her father’s company, was among the candidates being considered to substitute Rosie O’Donnell. But, some says that Barbara Walters is still sore at Donald Trump for calling her a liar during his dispute with O’Donnell and will never hire a Trump.
On asking Walters’s relationship with Donald Trump, Ivanka said it’s not an issue for her. She said,
I think Barbara Walters is terrific. I think she’s done a great job. She has had differences with my father. I think his problems mostly lay with Rosie, and somehow that sort of boiled over. But I think Barbara’s great, and the show is much better today than it was.
Other names reported to be in the list are Gale King, Whoopi Goldberg, Kathy Griffin and Mario Cantone.
