It seems that Catholics from all around the world are just aiming one thing at present and it is the ‘Da Vinci’ movie directed by Ron Howard.
Even in India the wave has caught up: almost hundreds of the Roman Catholics in India gathered outside a convent school to protest against the release of ‘The Da Vinci Code’, which is scheduled to be released next week.
The members of the Catholic group believe that the movie is an attack on their faith: they have further staged a demand that the protest will gain more momentum if the concerned authorities don’t pay heed to their voice.
As said by Joseph Dias the general secretary for the Catholic Secular Forum:
The movie must not be screened in India. It’s a gross misrepresentation of the church and the faith. Catholic Secular Forum (CSF) activists will go on a fast unto death if the government fails to take action against anti-Christian movies
