The Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) presented its annual awards in Los Angeles on Saturday night.

Little Miss Sunshine, having got nomination for best picture Oscar, was honored by GLAAD as best wide-release film.

Ugly Betty won the award for outstanding TV comedy series. Whereas, Brothers & Sisters was named outstanding TV series.

Besides this, GLAAD presented its Vanguard Award to actress Jennifer Aniston as well as Stephen K. Kolzak Award that went to tennis great Martina Navratilova.

Five awards have already been handed out of the total 42 annual awards. The rest will be presented on April 28 in San Francisco and May 10 in Florida.
The GLAAD Media Awards is to be televised on April 21 on Logo, which is MTV Networks’ cable channel for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender viewers.
