Chinese actress Lucy Liu said that she is just left with bewilderment with the way the authorities has reacted to Director Rob Marshall’s movie ‘Memoirs of a Geisha‘.



The movie is officially banned in China as the Chinese authority feels that the cast that includes both Chinese and Malaysian actors was wrong.



The Chinese actresses Zhang Ziyi and Gong Li who plays the role of Japanese Geishas is already vehemently criticized even by the internet users by saying that they have embarrassed the entire nation by doing such an act.



But on the contrary to so many bans the movie is already being praised by the critics, Actress Liu feels that it is purely racist perception to do such a thing like banning the movie.11021
