The talk is in the air that Penelope Cruz is re teaming up with her ‘Volver’ Spanish director Pedro Almodovar for his next film.
Penelope Cruz received an Oscar nomination for ‘Volver’ and now once again re-teams with Pedro in new film ‘La Piel Que Habito,’ based on French author Thierry Jonquet’s 1995 novel ‘Mygale’ in which he tells the story of a plastic surgeon who wants to take revenge on his daughter’s rapist.
One of the producers said,
It’s 70 to 80 per cent to be Pedro’s next (project). But Pedro always worked on several ideas at the same time, and he has a second screenplay on the go as well.
‘Volver’ picked the best picture award as well as best actress award for Cruz at the Goya Award, Spain’s equivalent of Oscars, in Madrid on Sunday.
