Chinese officials have ordered all the movie halls across the nation to pull off the Tom Hanks starrer ‘The Da Vinci Code’.



The controversial movie has already been banned in countries like Pakistan, Fiji and in few states across India.



Although Chinese officials say that the movie faces ban to boost up the market for the local Chinese movies, many believe that the debatable religious content is the reason behind this sudden decision.



In the latest ban row, this is the third movie that was stopped from being shown in China. Beijing, as known to everyone, never takes the chance of showing politically senasational and notorious subjects in the theatres.
