Charlize Theron is being strongly considered to play late Anna Nicole Smith in a film based on Smith’s life loaded with struggles. Theron is the first choice of director’s to play the character of Playboy Playmate who married an 89-year-old oil billionaire and died at a mere age of 39, the last week.
An unnamed source was quoted saying,
You couldn’t make up a life story like Anna’s. Studios are falling over themselves to pay tribute to an incredible woman. There are a number of actresses earmarked to play Anna, with Charlize the favourite.
Charlize is famous for playing real life character with a lot of poise and perfection. She has earlier won an Oscar for playing a controversial real-life character of US serial killer Aileen Wuornos in the film Monster in 2004.
Anna Nicole who got her first break in 1991 when she appeared as the cover girl for Playboy, suspiciously died last Thursday, after being found unconscious in Hollywood’s Seminole Hard Rock Hotel.
After a broken teenage marriage, Anna moved to Houston to become a stripper and married an 89-year-old oil billionaire J Howard Marshall in 1994, who died the following year. She spent almost the entire next decade battling his family for his estate.
