Neither romance nor action hit the Box Office rather it was Warner Bros. ‘Happy Feet’ an animated penguin romp to bag in the first step with its $51.5 million ticket sale over the Wednesday-to-Sunday holiday period. In addition, Sony’s the James Bond adventure “Casino Royale” stayed at the second step with $45.1 million. Then stands Disney’s thriller “Deja Vu,” with $29 million since opening Wednesday.
If you are thinking that it’s a great sell then you are mistaken as it is 3.4 percent down of what it was last year, when “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire” took in $81 million to lead Hollywood to its second-best Thanksgiving ever.

‘Happy Feet’ is a big success because of its good music, viva voice, amazing computer animated visuals and a positive environmental statement. These days people are changing their taste from sex to family drama or comedy in which they can converse themselves. “Casino Royale” is on course to pass 2002’s “Die Another Day ($161 million domestically and $432 million worldwide) to become the top-grossing Bond flick, said Rory Bruer, head of distribution at Sony. ‘Deja vu’ being a thriller is entertaining audience nicely and standing at third place. The 20th Century Fox comedy ‘Deck the Halls’ is giving a good recreation to viewer with its neighbors feuding over excessive Christmas lights, stand on fourth step of Box Office’s ladder.
