
‘Deja Vu’, the French phrase that refers to the sensation of feeling you have already had the exact experience and Denzel Washington skilled the feeling while working on “Deja Vu”.
Mega-producer Jerry Bruckheimer brings blatantly romantic and science-fiction thriller on the screen Wednesday after his “Pirates of the Caribbean” sequel, “Dead Man’s Chest,” took in more than $1 billion worldwide and his TV shows, such as “The Amazing Race” and the “CSI” series, dominate prime time television.

Now, his latest movie, “Deja Vu,” which stars Denzel Washington as an ATF agent chasing terrorists, is already in the race of Oscar Award.
Jerry Bruckheimer told The Early Show co-anchor Hannah Storm,
Well, it’s scientific fact,” “Einstein proved at the turn of the century, in the early 1900s, that there is such a thing as time travel, or you could have time travel.
In the film, Washington’s agent Doug Carlin investigates a terrorist bombing in New Orleans and discovers a top-secret government satellite program that can observe the recent past.
As Carlin tries to solve the murder of beautiful, young Claire (Paula Patton, ‘Idlewild’), he uncovered himself falling in love to that extent that he is willing to go back in time to liberate her.
Washington says, ‘Being a sex symbol for all ages? I don’t think about that. I don’t even know what that means.’
Washington and co-star Jim Caviezel share little screen time in “Deja vu.” Washington said he found the actor, who plays his on-screen nemesis, “intense.
Jerry had begun shooting film “Deja Vu” in New Orleans before Katrina hit in August 2005. He had to postpone the production.
Bruckheimer said the response from the locals who worked on the film was “unbelievable.”
