Hollywood hunk Brad Pitt might be the next Master of Universe! The Sun indicates that Brad Pitt may be in the running to play He-Man in the forthcoming film ‘Masters of the Universe’ that is based on the cartoon series.
Legendary Pictures, one of the production companies behind Batman Begins, Superman Returns and The Lady in the Water are settling plans to reintroduce the Eighties heroic fictional character in a 2007 avatar.
According to a movie source,
They are very keen on Brad for the role. He’ll have to bulk up though - he’s very fit but not to He-Man proportions.
He-Man - the most powerful man in the universe - is a sword-wielding hero with superhuman strength. The original cartoon series was one of the first TV shows to inspire a range of action figures, made by Mattel.
He-Man and his heroic friends defended the world of Eternia and the secrets of Castle Greyskull from the evil powers of Skeletor.
‘Troy’ star as He-Man! Hmm! Sounds interesting. If Pitt does not agree, ‘300′ actor Gerard Butler is their second preference. However, Pitt is my choice. I doubt he’ll go for a role like this.
