After eight long years, Brad Pitt and Edward Norton will be seen together in the forthcoming film State of Play, a film adaptation of the British miniseries. Kevin MacDonald of Last King of Scotland fame will direct State of Play.
The film will have Brad Pitt playing as a journalist who tries to investigate the murder of well known Washington politician’s mistress. Norton plays a congressman who rises quite fast in his political career but is threatened by an investigation that is underway into the death of his mistress.
Prior to this the two actors had acted together in the cult film of 1999, titled Fight Club. Edward Norton played a disillusioned man whereas Pitt did the role of a soap salesman in Fight Club.
Currently Brad is filming for “The Assassination of Jesse James” and Norton too is busy in the remake of the “The Incredible Hulk”. The shooting for State of Play begins when they both will be done with the current films.
