After garnering loads of critical acclaim, ‘Babel’ went out to be a winner at the 2007 Palm Springs International Film Festival Gala Awards as well, and won multiple honors.
Brad Pitt, Cate Blanchett, Adriana Barraza and Rinko Kikuchi were awarded the Ensemble Performance Award, and Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu bagged the Best Director award.
Brad Pitt was delighted, and, talking about the movie, said:
I love the undercurrent of this film, and that is the inability, sometimes, to understand where the other side is coming from.
‘Babel‘ appears to be catching the fancy of viewers the world over and is being considered to be among the best of the Troy star Brad Pitt.
