It was the Teen Choice awards and no wonders that celebrity teens got much attention. The young stars of Hollywood outshone the rest. The event that usually honors the up coming, talented young stars was broadcasted on Fox this Saturday night. The event was hosted by actress-singer Hilary Duff, 19, and actor-comedian Nick Cannon, 26. Kelly Clarkson, Fergie, Shop Boyz and Avril Lavigne rocked the event with their cool performances.
The award which categorizes from serious to comedy to best liplock awards gives its winners a surfboard instead of some statuette. ‘High School Musical 2′, the coolest teen show on the television these days won the best TV movie. Disney musical also won a special award and star Zac Efron was given titled as the ‘hottie’ of the year, which no doubts, he is. Dane Cook was named best comedian and Fergie was honored with 2007 Teen Choice female artist. Ryan Seacrest won an award for best hissy fit, Steve Carell for choice scream in the movie ‘Evan Almighty’ and also the best TV actor for ‘The Office’. Miley Cyrus also won two awards namely, the summer artist and the best TV actress for ‘Hannah Montana.’ Hannah Montana was also named the best TV comedy show.
