Oscar winner actor Morgan Freeman is all set to make a movie in which Freeman will be starred as former South African president and Nobel laureate Nelson Mandela.
The film is titled as The Human Factor and is based on book ‘The Human Factor: Nelson Mandela and the Game that Changed the World” written by John Carlin.

The movie will portray Mandela’s public and private life in the first year of his presidency, when South Africa had just emerged from years of racial discrimination.

Oscar-winner Freeman feels honored to play Mr Mandela’s role who left office in 1999. For getting into Mandela’s character Freeman even traveled to South Africa and discussed the project with the former president.

On getting an opportunity to act as Mandela the Freeman said :

I have known Nelson Mandela personally for quite some time, and am continually in awe of his enormous presence in the world.

In 2005 Freeman was awarded an Oscar for the role of best supporting actor in Million Dollar Baby. Freeman’s production company, Revelations Entertainment will make movie and it will be scripted by South African writer Anthony Peckham.

Freeman’s latest character as God in “Evan Almighty” has earned him the top slot at the US box office this week. The comedy has earned $37.9 million from Friday to Sunday.
